Today was without a doubt one of the best days I have had in a LONG time. First off, after being sooo so nervous about Speech districts today, I got there and wasn't nervous at all. Apparently, confidence bodes well for speech participants, because I took 3rd place and I'm going to the state competition in April! YAY!!! I am SO excited!

And then there was Jr. Miss. I, personally, did not compete in it, but I am still so excited about it that I'm practically giddy. Ok... and maybe a little delirious. Laura, one of my best friends who I love sooo much (and I'm not just saying that cuz you're reading this, Laura ^^) won. As in, not JUST the academic award and the interview award, but the ENTIRE THING. And she deserves it so much! I'm so happy for her its ridiculous.

Laura, you are my hero and I love you and great job!!!

And, since I seriously can't stop smiling, I don't think I'm going to be going to bed anytime soon. Adrenaline makes sleep kind of difficult.
